Moses Barrett III (born September 10, 1979,in Greenville, North Carolina), known by the stage name Petey Pablo, is an American Southern hip hop artist signed to Jive Records. Pablo rose to fame in 2001 and not only in his native North Carolina but the whole country. His single, "Raise Up," took the United States by surprise by making it into Billboard's Top 30 pop singles and Top Ten R&B singles.
